NEW NAME?

Gresham Youth Cheer is our 501c3 non-profit organization's legal name and will stay with us as long as we are around due to the fact that we started out as GYC and built from within the Gresham community. 

Obtaining a DBA (Doing Business As) means that we can now utilize a name that shows that we are expanding outside of just Gresham and wanting to embrace East County and the surrounding areas. We will be known as East Side Youth Cheer (ESYC) but will maintain our legal name and use our DBA for promoting and competing. 

We will also now be classified as a non-affiliated recreational competition team and will take athletes who are registered for sideline (we will do our best to accommodate their schedule). This means we will no longer be sidelining for a particular program or school as we now represent an area. We wanted to bring youth competition cheer to East County and showcase the confidence, skills and strength that these youths would gain from being in such a program. 

Our amazing logo was created by Faith By Ink who worked with our Program Director to ensure that our new era was nothing short of spectacular with our new name, mascot and colors - Mike who owns Faith By Ink brought a vision to life and made East Side Youth Cheer a reality when the logo became live and we could make the official announcement.
